Power of Peers Circles are a way to create community, set personal goals, discuss professional challenges, and receive constructive feedback in your field with the support of peers. POP Circles are regularly meeting peer mentoring groups that offer access to ideas, information and perspective.
Who: Each POP Circle would include scientists at a similar career stage and with shared social identities. Circles are determined by conversations assessing individual needs and interests.
What: Peer to peer problem solving, reflection and mentoring group. Each group has 5-8 participants and is launched with an experienced facilitator. The participation fee can be paid by individuals or institutions.
Where: Meet virtually.
When: Biweekly and ongoing. Some have lasted 20+ years!
